I just recieved my disputes back on neg Credit Store entry, apparently TU and EQ came back verified with updated balances(collection balance) EXP came back updated Never late LOL with old balance, obviously EXP didn't do there homework and just gave it to me LOL prob won't last long. Just checked CreditExpert and score jumped from 620 to 725 can that neg entry do that much damage? 105 points difference? it's only a $1500 collection balance oh well I'll take it heh LOL. Kinetix
Kinetix..... Request validation from Credit Store. They DO NOT have the original documentation. They need to order it from original creditor. They say it may take over 30 days. Once you request validation, wait 2 weeks or so and then send intent-to-sue letter for failing to update the account on your CRs as being in dispute by consumer. They collapsed.
I thinking of doing the same thing you did as we discussed this befor, we have very very similar situations. Like the original creditor never stated that the account was transfered nor purchased by so&so on credit report. I'm just worried about how to word the validation letter correctly since I'm not very good at writing these type of documents, knowing myself I'll goof somewhere along the line heh. Kinetix- I just sent out a very simple letter requesting Credit Store validate the account- standard form letter... at 30 days I called and asked them where my validation was- phone rep said they hadn't received any validation request- I told her that I would be sending the BBB and FTC a complaint outlining their numerous FDCPA and FCRA violations. Prepared the letters, but before I got them into the mail I received a surrender letter from them. they have no documentation, a simple validation letter (and perhaps a few subsequent firm phone calls) will get this monkey off your back.
