I was recently on a cruise and happened to meet a real estate agent from my area on board. We were discussing buying houses, the price of real estate and how I am working on my credit to purchase a house. I mentioned to her I need to get my FICO higher before I even consider shopping and applying. She told me another agent in her office has information on how you can pay a fee to raise your FICO score for house purchases on a fee per point basis. OMG, I remembered reading that at April Fools here and almost started laughing at her for even believing that. But I just listened in amazement how she said this other agent in her office would be more than happy to give me the info if I called her. HeeHee... the power of stupidity, right?
