A month ago I disputed an account showing 90+ days late with Equifax. I got my results back on Monday and they said they verified it. I complained because I told them I submitted a letter that my creditor sent me to support my claim that it was never late. Equifax told me that they couldn't use that letter because it did not include my exact account number and they just called the creditor and the creditor verified it. I told them there is no way that the creditor would verify it because they sent me a documentation that it was never late. Yesterday, I told EQ that I want to dispute it again. When I checked my PG equifax report today, the late is no longer showing!!! I called EQ to verify and they said the account has been updated (the same day as when I disputed it). My EQ and EXP are now SPOTLESS! PG scores before and after EXP: 640+ to 750+ EQ: 700 to 750+ Now, I wonder what my REAL FICO is. I am so curious, but I don't want to pay for it. =) THANKS CNET! -GC
