Just checked CreditExpert and was dismayed to find out that I had lost three points on my score because they removed a positive tradeline. Why would they take a good one off????? It wasn't even being disputed. This is so discouraging.

Just a thought -- positive tradelines that are closed only have to be shown on your report for 10 years. I don't think loosing an account that has been closed for that long would be worth three points, but depending on your credit history, it might be.

Other than that, I can't think of why you'd loose a positive tradeline that wasn't in dispute.

Although I do have two Macy's accounts on my Equifax report, one from Monogram Bank and one from GECC. The GECC is a negative, but whenever I dispute it for some reason Equifax sends disputes to both. Fortunately the positive one has verified every time.

To lower your Fico score so they can charge you unearned money.

I can: It damages your credit and lowers your score and they charge you more money.
