can a CA pull a hard inquiry if they are aware the debt is past the SOL to sue? if they already have your current address ?

is there a time limit for a CA to contact you to collect a debt ?

    example

past the 7yr reporting period, no C&D was ever given yet

This has been addressed many times before. There is no clear answer. The FCRA does not limit pulling for the purposes of a collection to if they need a current address.

A debt is always collectible, and they can contact you. Time-barred is an affirmative defense.
