I am looking for a 0% APR for a certain length of time. I plan on buying a laptop and paying it off through this credit card. I have a credit score in the high 700's, so I am not too worried about getting one. I just don't know much about CC's. I don't understand how rewards work, as I never used my Visa for it, and money back is way out of my league. But here is the card I am looking at now (Discover): discovercard. com/more/APR 0% APR 15 months 5% Cash Back, how does cash back work? However I heard Discover has double cycle billing which I should avoid. Sorry for the noob question, but need some help. Thanks, Dave
Hi Dave- There are several great 0% offers right now. The Discover More card is one of the best because not only does it offer 15 month no interest, but it also has a cash back rewards program with no annual fee. It's OK to use the card to buy a laptop, but make sure you pay off the balance before the 0% interest promo period ends. You'll also get up to 5% cash back on your purchases depending upon what you buy. The bonus spending categories (ie. travel, gas, restaurants) change all the time. No matter what, you'll at least get 1% cash back. Follow the link from Creditnet if you want to apply and help support this forum. Here's our full review and a link to apply: Discover More Card
