I have a bill with Bellsouth for $1241 and it has been turned over for collection back in August. I have no idea who the collection agency is, their name is not on the collection notice. There is a series of numbers followed by this addresss: 200 S Executive Dr 3rd FL DLO Brookfield Wi 53008-0933. This collection agency has been calling in my mothers phone (we live together but her phone is in her name) and also calling me at work. When they call. they kinda shout..."This is the attorneys office" Part of the bill is for DSL that I had for a few months and had so many problems with, I finally went to a cable provider. I guess I do owe the whole year for the DSL even though it was such terrible service the few months I did use it.The other part of the bill is for long distance charges where I called a friend in the UK @ $1.50 per minute. I had unlimited long distance for awhile and cancelled it, made a few more calls not expecting it to cost that much. I did speak with Bellsouth and asked them to lower the charges so that I could pay the bill and they refused. Thanks for any help in advance.
