I have sent out numerous letters to different creditors that have contacted me and basically asked them to Validate it. Some of them have contacted me back with there letters to keep the paper trail going and that is fine because I have the proper responses for them. But some of those that have not contacted me back are passed the 30 days. So do I contact the creditor and tell them take it off? Or in some of the cases these bills are not on my credit yet anyways. So does that mean that they can't go on CR?
Have you verified that they have received the letters, thru either return of the signed green card, or by printing a copy of the delivery confirmation from the USPS web site? Note that there is not generally a limit on how long they can take to send validation in response to your request. (One exception may be Texas, where validation is required within 30 days.) However, if you have sent your dispute and validation request within 30 days of receiving their initial collection letter, that outlined your right to dispute and request validation, and that if you did not do so within 30 days they would consider the debt valid, then they should not continue collection until sending validation. That includes putting it on your CRs if they are not already there, and "verifying" to the CRA in response to your CRA dispute.
