I've never been clear about the 7 year time limit in regards to information falling off of a credit report. I have some derrogs from back in my college days. I haven't had contact with the original creditor or the CA since 1997 or 1998. Most of the accounts have been charged-off. Do these types of trade lines fall off after 7 year's of no payment on my end or no collection activity on their end or would they stay because I haven't paid these accounts? Thanks in advance!
