    I just disputed a cap 1 tradeline that will fall off in a few months. Updated to show opened 5-97, reported since 1-97!! How is the best way to dispute?

    Good to see you lb!! I disputed not mine (it is on my mom's CR and it is NOT hers), and obsolete. It was immediately removed from TU, but EX and EQ verified. It should fall off in April. It is the only neg on all her reports.

    I use a sort of procedures request/redispute combo letter.

    Something like, how did you idiots verify that an account has been reporting 4 months prior to me ever opening it? I don't have an account opened in 5/97, reporting since 1/97.

    Please provide the procedures blah blah...
