I am planning to send in disputes/redisputes during the Christmas season as suggested here on the board. I am also planning to send validation letters. Should I space the letters and the disputes out over the next couple of months, or send the whole bunch in the end of November? Iam also wondering if this "seasonal" approach can be effective if I start a little sooner, we may have found a house and it sure would be nice to move during Christmas break... Thanks in advance for any wisdom you may toss my way! I have learned so much from this board, I will report in soon with my progress. Thanks to all of you for your help.
Re: Seasonal Disputes I would suggest starting now... you can not count on the "seasonality" to work with everyone. Clean up what you can now and work the second round/tough cases in early December. If you really want it to work you've got to time it to when everyone will be on vacation when the CRA send the forms to the creditors... mid-late December.
Re: Seasonal Disputes That was part of my strategy to get the Ford paid chargeoff off of my EFX report. I planned on disputing it on-line. The last time it took Ford ~13 days to respond so I was going try and time it by submitting a dispute on 12/7 or 12/14. Still trying to figure out a strategy. I could switch up and mail the dispute. Maybe that might work better this time than on-line.
