Well just for the heck of it I decided to use Sear's automated system and request an increase, in November they flat out denied me:( Well I got the congratulations you have received a 200.00 increase, hey I know it's small but this to me seems like a small sign my credit is better than it was in November.

    THAT'S GREAT, MOM!

That's great news, Mom. And you're right -- I do think this is a good indicator that your credit is improving.

$200 isn't such a small amount. I think you did very well.

    RETRY, MOM

    Mom,

Penneys is pretty good. I'd go ahead and ask. You'll get an increase this time. I'd wager on it. :)

The reason they only gave you a $200 increase Sears want to see if you pay your bills a lot of people will get a large increase and max out and not pay.

Congrats Mom. I was denied a Sears card when they sent me a pre-approved offer. By the way the 1st post listed as LKH, I'm sure you can tell by the grammar is not me.
