You, CCollector, have the perfect collector mentality. As long as everything goes your way, you are kind. I tell you nicely that I don't have $20 to send you, and you nicely tell me that you are going to put this bad mark on my credit? Controlling and Freaky. You close people's accounts because they are unwilling to work with you. aka send the amount of money that you want them to send? when you want them to send it? lick your toes for you? ca' mon. *** I also don't like it when people tell ME what they want. A guy will have a $13,000 balance that he owes the bank and he wants me to credit his fees back, lower his interest, etc. *** That's right. people don't tell you what to do, you tell them, right? This guy might want his rate lowered, etc., so he can pay his balance down, or so his minimum monthly payment will be lowered. You say that you are a nice guy. Well, maybe so. But you still hold the collective mentality of bill collectors. It's in your words.
I have to agree with rblues....The first thing that entered my mind when I read Ccredit first post was...I wonder how old he is? He admits he is 19 and still lives with his parents...where is the fiscal responsibility in that? OK, I give him credit for going to school and working but that doesn't change the fact that he is calling people and asking for money on a daily basis without a clue on how hard life can really be. What are the odds he has ever had to choose between a child's prescription and a debt payment? Do you think he ever ate nothing but oodles of noodles soup for a week so he could pay off the doctor that wrote the prescription for the child, because that debt was more important than some damn credit card? The truth is simply this....while he may or may not be a troll, he still hasn't imparted any valuable information to any of us...he has insulted most of us...and he has yet to prove that he is here to help. I have NEVER had a collector be "nice" to me on the phone after I have said "no, I don't have the money". Once those words came out of my mouth the conversation always went downhill from there. My opinion is that 99.99% of all collectors are immature, spoiled, "born with a silver spoon in their mouth" and don't have a clue of what real life hardship is all about, self righteous a..holes that should all be made to walk a mile in mine and many of your shoes before they are allowed to make one insulting phone call. I do agree about giving a newbie a chance because I still am one but I didn't come to this board clueless about real life and full of insults.
