lol, thanks for the link Saar.. the promotional offer I got actually says ZERO interest until Feb 2003 on ANY purchases and it goes up to 9.9% APR. No annual fee.. I'm just aplpying to get credit cards, as long as there is no annual fee, I'm okay. I don't plan on using the card.. just getting some credit built up so they can all age..

Good idea. Always get credit when you don't need it. It is better to deal from strength.

    I'm happy with my FLEET...had 0.00% for like 9 months..."GO-TO" 9.99%...

I don't like that they have NO E-MAIL...

    Ender,

I got two Fleet credit cards from them for last two years and they always pull credit from Experian if you apply on the web.

Woops - actualy, I just got an instant approval.. but only for $6,000. I guess I'm not getting my $10k+ limits anymore. Probably because I have so much credit extended to me already now..

I've had this card for over a year with no problems at all.

I was approved for this card, but they wouldn't give me a decent limit, so I told them no thanks, you can keep your card, not interested.

A recurring theme in the epinions for Fleet is their penchant for jacking up APR's when balances go up. They also seem to jack up APR's when accounts are closed (it's in the agreement supposedly).

I didn't see any Citi epinions that mentioned APR jacking.

I'm tossing my Fleet offer in the trash.

It's in the agreement...they concider a CLOSED ACCOUNT to be DEFAULT!!!
The rate gets "JACKED UP" to 22% +/-

    Ender,

Congradulations!!!I only get $5000 for Edvance Card two years ago and Fusion Card for $5000 a year ago. I request limit increase by calling their automated phone system and they increased my limit every 9 months. My Edvanced Card is now $9000 and Fusion Card is $7000.
