TL not reporting for EQ

I have a Secured Installment Loan which I opened in June 2003. I have made all my payments on time, but for the last 3 months EQ has not been reporting my payment status and I'm getting a little worried. It reports okay on my EX and TU, but not on my EQ.

Since I subscribe to PG and pull everyday, the TL doesnt report any late status or negative comments, it just shows a blank spot (nothing there) under the past three months, while EX and TU reports okay payments.

Just a alittle worried that it might affect my current EQ score since it has reported anything for the last three months. Do you know if this is lowering my score and how can I correct this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

probably not hurting your score at all. Some tl take longer to report or don't update as often on one or other of cras. It might be more of a problem with a revolving that you paid off and was not showing, so utilization would be higher. An installment is closed end and since there are no negatives, I am sure you are fine. Since it is a positive tl that you want to keep, disputing incorrect balance might cause eq to delete, which they are famous for. You could just contact OC directly but it really not a problem the way you describe.

    Thank you for your response.

My installment loan is still open which I have about 5 more monthly payments to go. I don't know what to do, since EQ is not reporting the last three months while my EX and TU are always updating monthly. Just a bit worried, because the reason I took out this loan was to strengthen my credit history. So I guess the purpose is defeated if my EQ is not getting updated and my goal is to have all 12 months of positive payments reflecting on this TL.

I really believe that you are okay. If there was a problem than believe me eq would update neg info. At the end if it hasn't caught up all the way, then dispute it a 0 balance and paid in full. If there is no neg info then its a positive tl and your fine.

you said that you were pulling pg, well since eq is the score given, has it changed lately for better or worse

Yes, Im' pulling PG and I see my EQ score varies from about 5 points here and there. But I think it's due to my utilization. I think my score could be higher if the payment history included the last 3 missing payment data.

Do you know how I can have this corrected?

Doesn't it tell you about your score. If it doesn't say its lower because you missed some installment payments and I would bet it doesn't then you are definitely okay.

I wish I could tell you something more optimistic. But as far as I know there is nothing you can do about it. It is totally up to your original creditor. Once they update your data itâ??s going to show up on EQ. You just have to wait.

I had similar problem with TL not showing on report, I spoke to OC, CRA couple of times â?? I couldnâ??t do anything about this.

BTW, who is your original creditor?

    Good luck,
    Denny

My original creditor is a credit union bank. The TL is a secured installment loan.
