Hey Chet - thanks for mentioning the visa card you got affiliated with, I believe, Circuit City. Did you have to buy anything such as a television etc. in order to apply for the card?

I would sure appreciate it if you would refresh my mind with the details of how and where you applied for the card and what the terms are; ie. apr., limit, fee etc.

    Thanks Jim.

    Hey Jim,

The card is First North American National Bank Visa.

    http://www.fnanb.com

This bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of Circuit City. I received an offer in the mail to apply, I did and was approved with a 92 BK on reports.

APR is 19.2%, no annual fee, started with a $500 credit limit which they just increased to $900 after 5 months. They report to all 3 CB's and also include your credit limit on your report.

It's a very attractive card (looks like a platinum card) and says "Preferred Card Member" on the card. I remember my Citibank Gold back before my BK also said "Preferred" :(
So it brings back old memories :)

Anyhow, I would highly recommend this card. They also offer specials on Circuit City products!!

    good luck

    Also....

    Jim,

I didn't buy anything. I just received an offer to apply by mail. Their website doesn't offer an online application, but you might want to call customer service if you have questions 1 800-728-8472
