    is the question!

Ok. I have a chase TL - opened in 1991. It is listed as "closed by credit grantor" there are some old lates attached to it. It was closed a few years ago. It is obviously pretty darn negative, but it is my oldest TL. The rest are mid to late 90s.
My guess is - that since I was only a UA on the account - that if I dispute it as "never late" or anything like that - IF anything happens.. it will just disappear...not show as never late.
Which is worse? a newer credit file...with one less derog, or an older credit file with that on it?
Is it better to keep it there for now... while I dispute more obviously bad TLs?

IMHO, losing that age would not be a benefit to you.

However, you never know about that RNG!
