Okay, Perhaps I'm just fiesty, but I have two Cap1 accounts that show in collections. They haven't written, called, etc. The SOL for suit is 4 years here in california. It has been past the 4 years of DOLA according to EQ. They don't have the info. on the other bureaus, because of Cap1's stellar reporting and compliance job. Do I initiate a pay to delete?? Heard they don't respond well. Try a planet feedback letter? Send a letter to OC, stating, I'm unaware of these accounts... All the while, keeping my hard copy of EQ to show the DOLA, and see if they reage the accounts and go after them for that, since I heard that they are so fun to deal with and sue them in SMALL Claims for the FCRA violation??? It's three more years before they fall off, assuming they don't alter the DOLA. I wonder if they have set a reminder in their system to automatically reage when it gets close to the 7 year mark??? Not sure if I should start tackling now??? Input please...
Bump Really, no ideas from this group? Come on now. I know there are many different types. I'm looking for all the IDEAS, and then I'll proceed. Hopefully your insight will educate me. Thanks in advance.
