I spoke to two csr's and one supervisor and they are extremely tight lipped about requirements to open account.They pull a hard inquiry on experian & of course Chex Systems.They wouldn't give any info on the score you needed or if you basically needed to be able to qualify for credit with them to get an account.Everything was a mystery to them.All they could say was just apply online and you'll know in 60 seconds.But I'm the one that has to possibly burn the inquiry.Any insight you might have would be appreciated and any other phone number than the listed cs number.Preferably a credit MGR at centurion bank.Thanks.Saar ,maybe you know too.
If you're referring to Membership B@nking, I don't think they're too strict about qualifying for their checking/MMA products (except for their line of credit, since - as its name implies - it's a credit product rather than a deposit account). My initial MMA application did generate a hard inquiry on EXP (which we now know can be disputed online), however a recent application for their bank line of credit resulted only in a SOFT inquiry.
