I discharged $15K on an Optima card in 1998 when I BK'd.
I hope I am wrong but as I remember Optima was affiliated with AMEX because I asked to keep the Optima card in 1995 as it had no annual fee. AMEX obliged.

There's no question that you're right. I simply didn't know about the Optima card, and thought the only issue was the Gold card.
