On round 1 of disputes, the 3 CRA reports came back to me updated over a 2 week or more interval. On round 2, I received a negative TU response about 2 weeks after the disputes went out. I received updated Experian and Equifax reports 6 weeks after the dispute letters went out in the mail.
I should have mentioned that the 1st round took a total of 8 weeks after the dispute letters were sent out.
Here is my understanding of the 30 day rule: The CRA's have 30 days to investigate our disputes after the CRA receives the dispute. In my view, when Experian or TU sends us a letter acknowledging the receipt of a dispute they are only extending the 30 days to 45 as they always claim they received the dispute(s) later than seems reasonable. On round 3 with Junum. I think they disputed my reports on 3-13. I expect to get results in 45 to 60 days after 3-13.
