Hi LKH, The board is moving fast today and I hope you see Kristi's response to my thread regarding "To Kristi Re: Manhattan Legal Service". I think it will interest you. I appreciate the fact that you will update us with your progress via Lexington. Per our prior discussions, I still have an open mind about these 2 firms. Best regards Jim
Hi Jim, Lex sent disputes to Experian on June 26. As of today I have heard nothing. So I called exp. and what a bunch of idiots. I disputed some inquiries online, so exp. lumped all the disputes together and is telling me that the disputes are not complete yet. I don't think they can legally do this. These are separate disputes, received on different dates. More ammo for a lawsuit I guess. It gets very frustrating. Everytime something comes off of exp. it seems to go to a different collector, and I have to start all over again. TU which was my best report is no longer. I have 3 items left on equifax. It started as my worst. TU has 4 and they are all public records. experian is a mess. I now have a charge off (the last one) listed from the creditor and the ca. I have a few paid collections from 1996-97, that were insurance payments, but are on my report and none of the ca's will remove them. They are due to fall off about 4-5 of 2002. Anyway, that's my miserable update. Take care.
