Thanks for posting the Cap One "Consumer Advocate" address. I just e-mailed a complaint to the CEO via Planetfeedback a few minutes ago. If for some reason the CEO staff does not respond, I will go to the Consumer Advocate.

    You're very welcome, Jim.

I'm glad the information is helpful. I hope that you get all of your
concerns with Capital One addressed to your satisfaction.

I spoek to cs at cap1 as soon as I got my card (last month) re:increasing the loc. They told me after I made my first payment to call back, that I had to have a payment history(what a crock). Well I did call back and was told I had to wait 3 months. That kind of pissed me off. I sent a complaint yesterday thru planetfeedback to cap1 and have not heard anything back yet. How long did they take to get back to you Marci?

    LKH,

I sent the initial letter and a week later resent the same letter, both via
PFB. I got an e-mail response from Cap One an hour after the second letter
and the next day got a phone call from the Consumer Advocate.

All in all, it took about 2 to 2.5 weeks to hear back from Cap One. I may
have gotten a quicker response, since I said I would be notifying the FTC.

    Update

I got an email from Cap 1 today telling me my complaint is important to them blah blah. They asked me to contact the consumer advocate by phone so that a solution could be worked out. I'll let you guys know what happens.
