Saar - did you say in another post that there is a "9.9% Cap One classic card"?

Please educate me. I have been toying with the idea of applying for a 2nd Cap One card but don't want to deal with high rates, fees etc.

My understanding is that 9.9% is reserved for platinum cards.

    Jim,

I believe I saw 9.9% offered on both Platinum and Classic cards at123debt.com.
Please check it out and let us know.

    That's right, Jim.

If you apply for the Cap 1 Platinum and are declined, you'd also be considered for the Classic 9.9% (which carries no annual fee)

But I doubt they'll let you upgrade from the regular Classic to this "special" classic.

But would they let him have it as a second account? Lots of people have two Cap One accounts.

Also, Jim, you can go to: 123debt.com, top credit cards, capital one, important disclosures.

That is the Platinum and Classic C@rd, not to be confused with the standard CapOne Classic card which has over 19% APR and an annual fee.
