Thanks for the thread about your conversation with Nordstrom in regard to you re-establishing credit after a BK. I am glad that they told you the same thing they told me. When you apply in 6 months, I feel very confidant that they will give you at least a dept. store card. One of the things that has astounded me in regard to credit rebuilding is that when we can speak to the lender reps on the telephone before applying for credit; the credit is usually granted at some point. But when the system is fully automated; no credit is granted to consumers with a BK.
Hey Jim, I am thinking about applying for a Nordstrom card. Do they approve online with BK's? Or do you think I should apply with a live rep? Also, does Nordstrom report to all the CB's? Thanks as always, Chet
