Hey, just thought I would try to help out with a hobby of sorts for my fellow C-Netters. While this winter drags on and you have time between writing letters and posting here..... Why don't some of you guys and gals do the following.... Buy a Playstation 2 $179.99 Buy a network adapter $39.99 Buy the game called Socom II U.S. Navy Seals $49.99 You need a modem (which you should already have with your computer). An ethernet cord. Hook it all up and prepare to slaughter your fellow Seals or Terrorists. You have not lived until you have realized the power of online gaming of this type. I must confess that I am addicted to the realism of stepping on a landmine.....or being blown away by a shoulder rocket launcher....or even the terror of wondering where that sniper is hiding? This has absolutely nothing to do with Credit Net. But that's what makes this so cool! Take a break once in a while and look me up. Out of 300,000 registered players online, I am ranked 2,500. I have a friend who would be interested in doing this. He has the playstation 2 and SoCom, he just needs the network adapter. After he get's this, what's the next step?
Just hook it up and log on! Sony charges exactly NOTHING to play online through their servers. You pay the cable company for you broadband service like normal...no extra bills. When he gets to doing it your free to ask me for some help if he needs it. But he probably won't, pretty simple stuff. SnakeMan
