I got the identical offer yesterday for the AT&T Universal Platinum card. This is the 4th offer they've sent me since July. I already have a Plat Select, their Plat select smart card and the AA Gold World MC. Don't know if I should go for it or not. I've had an itchy trigger finger the past couple of weeks.
Nice offer... I only just got 0% on purchase and 1.9 on BT for 6 months with my Citi Quicken Master Card.
LKH, Citibank are known to combine their cards very easy. I would get this card, then before even activating it, I would call Citibank and ask them to combine it with some other card I have with them. Practically, it would work as a CLI. If there is a BT offer with a good promo period you want to use, then do the BT, and combine it before the expiration of the promo period.
That makes sense. I think I'll eventually have to do that. As my limit has increased, the CLIs are taking longer. That would be a quick way to get an increase. But I've been really good about not applying for anything, I was trying to go a year with no inquiries.
