yeah, well, I just ran across this little beauty in the Credit Alerts (read-only) section here on CNET. You'd think I'd be savvy enough to steer clear of these folks, wouldn't ya?

Well, since I'm still sub-sub prime and get turned down frequently -- I paid their usurious initial application and annual fees and got a little baby CL. It's so new I'm only received one statement. I drove TO the post office and send my payment Express Mail...so I know when it arrived on their doorstep. Meanwhile 2-days later, I got nervous and made a payment on-line at their web site (cost me $10 to do that).

Sure enough this post in the Credit Alerts section is RIGHT ON.... they sat on my mailed payment until it was past the due date, but prior to the statement date. I was LUCKY on this one... but shudder to think....

Any other sub-primes out there...be afraid...be very afraid.

That really stinks! KEEP your express mail receipt and next time, rather than the online (they'll likely loose it there too), send it express with CRRRR.

Sorry to hear of your experience.

Search for the threads on their current legal problems with State AG's. The PA AG's suit is pretty interesting reading... :)

Complain to your state AG ASAP, it took PA's AG several years of warnings to the company before it had enough of a case to sue. Now their time has come... :)
