    Hi:

My Equifax report lists "too many accounts reported" as one of the negative factors affecting my score. However, many of these accounts were closed and last reported 7 or more years ago and none have any negative information.

    1. Should they remove the "closed 7+ years accounts" if I contact them? Any suggestions on how to go about it?
    2. Will the other CRAs do likewise?
    3. How much of an impact do these have on my score?

    NEVER remove POSITIVE closed accounts

You will LOSE them soon enough...AND you lose F.I.C.O. points because of it...

Then why is Equifax saying I am losing points already by having too many good ones? Are you saying I will lose even more points when they are gone?
