Does anybody know who are the top ten (or top 5 banks) in terms of issuing credit cards. Ranked in terms of number of cards issued.
This best place to find this info is within the Nilson Report. Periodically, cardweb.com also publishes this info. Unfortunately, both these sites/publications are published specifically for the credit card companies. I know that a subscription (12 issues) for the Nilson Report costs $800/year (yes, that's eight hundred!). I previously worked as a financial analyst for one of largest credit card companies, but now that I've moved on I don't currently have access to this data. If I can get this data from some of my old contacts, I will post it here.
