   I'm new to all of this, could someone please explain to me how to go about checking to see if a CA has put anything old back onto my credit report? And if it's being disputed, what steps do I need to make to let the CRA know that?

   You don't the CA is supposed to let the CRA know that, or it is an FDCPA violation.
