I just pulled my boyfriend's TransUnion report to check if some accounts I disputed have been marked in dispute and notice a collections tradeline that I haven't seen before.

Updated 8/2001? It wasn't on his report last week when I pulled it. Or last month. How can this just show up all the sudden and read like it's been there for 1 1/2 years? Have other people had this problem too?

I have this problem as well...with Equifax, not Trans Union.

I've already sent off a validation letter to them, CRRR of course. It just frustrates me that it appeared all of the sudden, but with an old reporting date.

has he applied for a loan of some sort? or credit? just happened to me.. except i applied for mortgage, 5 days later got a letter from risk management services saying i owe them $$. it has NEVER been on my 8 credit reports i'm constantly pulling, and its not on cr's now. just a letter in mail saying i owe them money. but i did send validate crrr..just pisses me off how *ironically* it appears after applying for mortgage.

AND equifax reinserted within a week, 2 tradelines that were previously deleted. i emailed, and got a response saying its been deleted and sending a new copy of cr.
