    Breeze,
    thanks,

I just found out that they charged it FIVE times! Like, why the heck would I need FIVE copies of my credit report?

Geeze. Anyway, they are closed until tuesday, I called cap1 and their dispute dept. is also closed till tuesday. BUT the rep made a note in my account in case they decide to charge me more for my ONE credit report & I go overlimit so they don't charge me fees.

What a pain in the butt.

I wish they were local, I'd go down and smack the crap out of them.

    LOL

I am really not this crude, but I get mad when someone's trying to steal my money!!!

More likely a computer error. Good thing you caught it and called. Don't let it ruin your weekend, they'll take care of it, I'm sure.

    Breeze:

If they follow SOP, they will likely reply telling him it's a frivolous dispute and will be disregarded.

Yes, I think they are capable of that.
But never mind, I'm just joking anyway. We will wish him the best of luck.

    (LOL)

Maybe that's why we have so many problems with them.
They are under staffed because they can't find enough qualified people in the incompentent pool.

I'm sure that in their job descriptions, under qualifications, it lists incompetency as #1 requirement.

So far, one credit report has cost me
    42.50. I should've went for a trimerge somewhere.

They Charged my husbands card, 7/17/2001, but never mailed his report! When my husband called they claimed they showed no inquiry on his credit report. We have yet to get his report or a refund! I just reported it to our bank. I am hoping they will try to get our money back for us!!!

    Good Luck
