I have an item on my report that was included in a BK from 1996 and was seriously delinquent about a year prior to that (30-60-90-120, etc.). Then it was listed as charged off in 1-97. Now, on my updated report, it is listed as charged off in 5-2000. What will be the date removed from my report? They have changed the charge-off date from 1-97 to 5-00 on me, but I do have an older report from TU showing the 1-97 charge-off date. Please help! Also, it is listed as current status, "included in BK -- date updated 7-00." Sorry if this is confusing, I know it confuses me! Thanks!
dispute the item as having a incorrect date. maybe the item will get deleted. if your lucky. dont supply the date though. they may just change the date back, try for deletion. good luck
