I just got off the phone with TransU. I disputed some things on my CBR on Mar 12 and have yet to get anything from them regarding my dispute. I talked to a rep of TU and they said that because I used the annual free credit report website to access my CBR creditors have 45 days not 30 days to respond to disputes. However, I was told that if I had paid for my credit report TU would only give creditors 30 days to verify. The TU rep said that this is a new law. Any one heard of this?
