I have a question about how long TU keeps lates on credit reports. I have always heard 7 years. However, when I pull my TU report it only lists that I have 0 lates in the last 48 months. However, I had a 90 day late from 1997 that showed up on the tri merge that mortgage lenders pull. I had since had the 90 day lates removed from the other reports but not Trans Union as far as I know. They don't list it and I can't find a more detailed section of their report. I only see the last 48 months. What do lenders see? The entire 7 years? TIA
