Trans Union has sent the acknowledgement of my dispute letter, and included a letter about credit repair companies. They asked if I was being helped by one or more companies. Are they catching on or is this standard now? Why is the date about 2 weeks after I sent it, when it is only going from NY to PA. Their letter date is March 3, 2001. I sent the letter in on Feb 20. Weird. Do they have to resond to me in 30 days or just complete the invesigation. How long after that do they have to get me an answer in writing?
