Hi all, Just when I am riding high off Equifax's correction to my report, I am brought down by Trans Union. These idiots have reported me as 60 days late on my Ford account in July of this year. Here is what is really funny about it, they have me current for June and 60 days late in July. Also, I paid the loan off in July. So Ford faxed over a manual report. It specifically states at the bottom that there have been no lates since August of 1998. Trans Union said it was not good enough because it does not speak to late payments. I said, I am only disputing that I was not 69 days late this year. The fax specifically agrees with my dispute. The rep said it does work so I hung up and called back. The next rep began down the next road, but I kept explaining I am not disputing all lates just the one this year. She finally agreed to listen. She pulled the fax and saw what I stated and then asked me to fax over another copy. It's never easy is it. Mike G.
I am not sure if it is the universal form. At the top is say Manual Credit Report Form. It basically looks like a history statement. But it has boxes that state to override tape (which is checked) and another box stating this is an update. Ford's logo is on it. At the very bottom is has a fax number for all CRA's I would think that is a standard form. Mike G.

I called Trans Union today and they said it takes 3-5 business days to log in faxes. I faxed it last night so they said to call on Monday. Mike G.
