Secure encryption between the customer's browser and the server that your site is hosted on. You would need to discuss this with the hosting company. You might also look into "shopping cart" software, if you have numerous items to sell.
A merchant account, where a processing company would put the transactions through the Visa and MasterCard clearance systems, and then deposit the money into your bank account.
