Can anyone shed some light on the codes below? Are they "hard' or "soft" inquiries? Equifax provides no documentation for these, nor any way way to separate hard from soft. These are "as is" listings, the way they appear on my list of inquiries. Here we go: ID-Equifax Consumer Services, Inc. The credit file I received after requesting one from Equifax gives a legend of inquiry types. The explanation on this page is practically an exact copy of that legend titled "Inquiries NOT reported to businesses": http://www.mindspring.com/~mdeeb/equifax/cc/products/sample_profile/sample_profile_js.html Neither mentions "DTC." What is that?
