Hi everyone- I couldn't think of a better group of folks to ask. I am a lurker and have posted under another login occasionally. For whatever reason, I am having difficulty posting under my old name--mirage5. In any case. HELP? I filed 4/00 and discharged 8/00. During my periodic credit report check, things look really screwy with TU--unlike previous reports. 1. Accounts included in the bk are double listed in both the satisfactory and unsatisfactory columns. Is this correct? 2. The accounts included in BK are alternatively listed as "included in bk" or "chapter 7 bk". Does it matter how it is listed? They both appear to note that the account is satisfied by bk... I look forward to any and all feedback! Mirage7
Hi Mirage. Mine are listed only in the Adverse credit history portion. This is right under my public record section and right over my accounts in good standing section. I don't think they're supposed to be listed in both places though. Also, they all report something like Included in bk or Discharged ch. 7, as long as it has the zero balance and states that you should be okay. The way they word it may vary between these two but it means the same thing as far as I can tell. If mine were double listed, I'd probably dispute. Good luck.
Thanks so much. I just needed to know if the format had changed since my last pull. It amazes me that so much including the double listing could have gone wrong with my report since I corrected it last! What goes on over there? I will never get it! Thanks again! Mirage7
