Hey guys need some input... I had a second mortgage that i paid off in 11/01.. During the term of the loan there were some late pays... Ive disputed with all three and Equifax deleted months ago, experian updated with pays as agreed through out the term of the loan( great for me), and then theres transunion... this is what tu had me at last month >STATUS AS OF 11/2001: 90 DAYS PAST DUE< >IN PRIOR 30 MONTHS FROM DATE CLOSED 1 TIME 90 OR MORE DAYS,< > 4 TIMES 60 DAYS, 7 TIMES 30 DAYS LATE< > MAXIMUM DELINQUENCY OF 90+ DAYS OCCURRED IN 10/2001< so i disputed and this is what they got me at now >STATUS AS OF 11/2001: 90 DAYS PAST DUE< >IN PRIOR 24 MONTHS FROM DATE CLOSED 1 TIME 90 OR MORE DAYS,< > 5 TIMES 60 DAYS, 15 TIMES 30 DAYS LATE< > MAXIMUM DELINQUENCY OF 90+ DAYS OCCURRED IN 07/2001< instead of 7 times 30 days late now they have me at 15 times.. what would you all do next.. i dont want to rock the boat with the original oc for fear they would change what ive taken care of with EQ and experian.. all help appreciated
Wow, this is a toughie. I wouldn't want to rock the boat with the OC either. I would ask TU for a procedures request. Start disputing each and every late. I think you may have to be a pain in the ass with this one. Do you have personal records of how many times you were late? Which tradelines are correct. Start from there.
I would write a nice letter to the OC stating how the loan is paid and that you shouldn't have that many late pays on the account etc. Please show proof. Also I would ask TU how they are verifying if you can't with the OC?
