Wow...I have been really working to improve my score and have really cleaned up my report. 700 used to be good, but now it's a C with Transunion. Old Range: 400 lowest - 925 highest New Range: 501 lowest - 990 highest It's discouraging...just wanted feedback if the other bureaus have changed their ranges also.
What you are talking about is the Vantage Score. All 3 bureaus have this, it supposed to compete with FICO. It remains to be seen whether lenders will adopt to it. Don't confuse your FICO score with the Vantage score.
Ok..thanks for responding...how do I get my FICO score...and how does the Vantage compare to the FICO?
The 3 CRAs originally touted Vantage as being easier to understand, with 700s being like a C, 800s like a B, and 900s like an A, but here is how they sell their customers on it: http://www.vantagescore.com/businessinfo.html http://www.vantagescore.com/consumerinfo.html http://www.vantagescore.com/docs/CLPr6.pdf http://www.vantagescore.com/docs/SEGMENTATIONr6.pdf http://www.vantagescore.com/docs/TRI-CRC_FINAL_5-23.pdf
