I recently sent TransUnion a dispute for some outdated TL's that should have been deleted. The OC had fallen off already, but ASSett still showed. Upon checking PG, I noticed my car note acct showed "account info disputed by consumer" under remarks. But I did not dispute it!! I called TU and they stated that the had rec'd a dipute from me and they were investigating. I requested a copy of what they rec'd and they would not give me any info. When I finally received my updated report, it showed that thet investigated 11 items! Is this their way of trying to delete positive TLs hoping that they don't get a response so they can delete!!??? As always all comments are appreciated. leesa
Re: Re: Transunion Disputing For Me!!!! Ask for PROOF of your request is all you can do...I don't think you could get any money out of it. If they DELETED any POSITIVE ACCOUNTS...MAKE THEM REPLACE THEM...

In fact, I remember, when I first came here, being the good newbie, the first thing I did was dispute old addresses At the time CSC (AKA EQ) would put a random tradeline in dispute to see if those addresses being disputed were verified. I haven't heard anyone mentioning that of late, maybe they quit doing it?
