I called TU this week to ask why they sent me a frivolous letter. The rep directed me to the US Attorney General. I began to ask her questions. She said that once the CA has verified it with the CRA than they will never reinvestigate, and any other requests for verification will be ignored. She also said that Trans Union doesn't investigate anything that was already verified. She said that even if I send any proof in that it will be ignored. I asked her if she would have said all of this if the call was being recorded. The line immediately went dead. What should I do?
Send a nice note about "IF" they would like to EXPLAIN THIS TO THE JUDGE IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT OVER A MATTER OF $1,000 + COURT COSTS...
Re: Re: TransUnion Phone Call. help!! I've never had TU say that they wouldn't re-investigate, and I've phoned the minute that I received the VERIFIED letter... I've only had a handfull of accounts actually get verified, the largest batch of disputes was 12 disputes, 10 deletions, 1 deleted on the second dispute (the agent who took the first dispute processed it as NOT MINE instead of the dispute that I had told them); the last came off after many, many, many months, and getting the OC to buy back the account that they said that they had no documentation for, even though the CA refused to validate it other than sending two one page print outs, essentially the same printout in both a spreadsheet format, and an Access Database type print out... Experian on the other hand has given me refused to accept disputes on one account more times than I could count, I finally had to ask for an OC verification, at the same time I gave the owner of the OC the fax # of the day for Experian...
