I HAVE JUST RECEIVED THE TRAVELOCITY MASTERCARD IT LOOKS LIKE A PLATINUM CARD BUT IT IS NOT IT IS A WORLD MASTERCARD WHAT CONFUSESES ME IS THE CREDIT LIMIT IT SAYS REVOLVING LIMIT IS 7,500.00 BUT WHEN EVER I CALLLED THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM IT SAID MY AVAILABLE CREDIT IS 9,375. I DON'T UNDERSTAND IT HECK I DON'T KNOW HOW I WAS APPROVED BECAUSE I HAVE LIKE 60 INQUIRES ON MY EQUIFAX REPORT. BUT I WAS!!

If this is issued by Citibank (which I think I read somewhere), my dad got the AA World (the one with no pre-set limit) and when the card came it looked like a platinum card. He got it by mistake b/c I told him to convert his gold AA to platinum select and they converted him to the AA world platinum instead. I knew it was was the wrong card b/c the annual fee was $85. When I got on the phone with my dad and Citibank, the rep told me that Citi was running a promotion of upgrading the gold AA cardmembers to the AA world platinum card. But he converted it again to the normal Plat Select, since my parents don't need reward cards right now. Maybe that explains this poster's mixed up credit limit, if he really doesn't have one. But who knows... Marci
BRIAN WHATEVER BRO! Oh...and FYI I do have Providian Gold. Am I proud? Not really.....that card is NOTHING TO BE BRAGGING ABOUT! It sits comfortably in my desk drawer. Not even worthy enough for my wallet! They're lucky if I buy gas on it! Also, I would not have anything to do w/ BofA if my life depended on it. They are a poor excuse for a bank! I should know....I banked there for TEN YEARS!!!! Now what? Hollar!
