What is the validity and "strength" of a tri-merge report from a mortgage lender. I have a tri-merge and it specifically lists a particular account with DLA 12/95. However, the CRA list the DLA as 8/97. I KNOW the TRUE DLA is 12/95. Is a tri-merge strong enough evidence to take the complain (illegal re-age) to the next level?

If you can prove that you have been denied due to this error. You can take them to court yes.But you have to prove that you have been denied for credit.
