Hi ladies and gents. What's a reliable site to get a tri-merged report? I just spoke to a mortgage broker and he says they pull the tri-merged and go by the middle score. I've called about 3 of our builder's "preferred lenders" and they all say the middle has to be at least 620 to get prime rates. Prime right now, he said, is between 6.5 and 6.875 on a 30-year fixed. I know there's been a lot of questions lately regarding mortgage scoring. I also asked if they used the FICO Next Generation scoring model, and he wasn't sure.

If you're expecting your exact FICO scores from this website, you should first read their disclaimer:

The CreditXpert Credit ScoreTM is calculated based on many of the same criteria considered by the leading consumer credit scoring companies, producing in most cases a consumer credit score that duplicates or closely approximates the typical consumer credit score utilized by banks, mortgage lenders, and loan companies when determining creditworthiness. CreditXpertTM is not connected in any way with Fair, Isaac and Company; the CreditXpert Credit ScoreTM is not a so-called FICO score. Neither CreditXpert Inc. nor Neuristics LLC represent that the CreditXpert Credit ScoresTM are identical in every respect to any consumer credit scores produced by any other company.

Yeah, I saw that. I also saw the statement they make saying, "This is like the one that mortgage lenders use..." LIKE the one they use? That was a complete turn-off. But at any rate, thanks nmelwani for the reply.
