Found you guys on another forum! TRS sent me a dunning letter about 25 days ago. I sent them DV and limited C&D upon receipt, but didn't say much in either letter: DV: "I dispute this debt in its entirety and request validation persuant to the FDCPA." Cease Comm: "Please do not contact me except by written communication." That's all that went into the letters. Is this enough?
Thanks, Flying. Lizardking suggests a CRA dispute a week later. (This is for a bounced check that I did not write. It was entered into Telecheck). I plan to send "not mine" to the CRA. What is Telecheck's address? The 1-2 punch seems very appropriate here.
