    I pulled my 3 reports from TrueCredit and also myfico.com to cross check the entries. The entries are the same from both sources BUT my TrueCredit and myfico.com FICO scores for TU, EQ and EX do not match. In one case they are off as much as 30 points.

    Is anyone else having this problem?

    Which service is more accurate, TrueCredit or myfico.com???

    Thanks.

    I use TrueCredit as well but I thought the scores on there were FAKO scores which should give you a close estimation as to what you FICO scores are, but they definitely aren't the same. Can anyone back me up on this?

    I called True Credit and was told they are not the same. And I should read the fine print.
    My scores were 50 to 100 points off from my FICO

    I am with both TrueCredit and MyFico. (I won't keep both forever, but it's good for now). I believed TC was FAKO, and I also believed the scores were close to real. But in the last few days, I have not seen that be true.

    I am still having my scores slowwwwwly adjust after dispute. I still don't think the deletes are factored in even thought the dispute was done a week ago or more ago.

    On July 27, My Fico (real scores) reported my EQ score at 627 - the same day, TC reported my EQ score as 583. Those numbers were still the same as of yesterday, 5 days later. I thought maybe there would be a 1-2 day lag between the 2 services and they would be closer to the same soon, but not so. 44 pt difference.

    I'm not sure if me disputing has caused some strange reporting. I'm not sure the monitoring services are showing actual scores. I have reason to believe that I'm not seeing adjusted scores. Hard to explain, but maybe I'll know more soon. (I may pay the $$$ to get a score straight from 1 of bereaus, to compare)

    I just updated my TrueCredit report (like I do everyday). My EQ score updated today and now it is closer to the real MyFico score.
    MyFico = 627
    TrueCredit = 621

    Seems there are several days difference in reporting time, but at least they are closer to each other. Hope that helps give an idea of the difference and time frames.

    (Still, much lower than I had hoped for after all of those disputes. it's been a week since disputes have been final, and right now, I'm back to where I was before disputes. I don't know if that score update is yet to come or if this is it, but it doesn't seem right yet. But it's been a week..sigh)

    i have found that truecredit is pretty close as far as fako scores go.
    i just refinanced, and my real fico score pulled by my broker was actually higher.
    the TC scores are good as far as tracking your relative score as it relates to Myfico.

    good luck.

    Myfico just pulls experian right? I would like to monitor all three scores. Would Truefico do this?

    the only "true" fico score is the one from myfico.

    the best bet is to get truecredit so you can get daily access to be able to see how your deletions and score is going, and when you are ready to appy for credit, pull your myfico scores.
    otherwise it can get pretty expensive to do that on a regular basis.

    i think the truecredit scores are on par with the real fico scores even they are fako.

    Susan,
    I think MyFico offers more than one product to purchase to monitor your real fico scores. I bought Score Watch from MyFico.com which reports Equifax (not Experian) That only gives me scores for EQ, not the full report. They can send you an alert by email to let you know when something has changed, and they will tell you the change but not let you have the whole CR. (you can set your settings low to get those alerts to changes often)

    The scores from MyFico (real) and TrueCredit (fake) are close, although it can take a day or so for them to actually almost match. I use both for now because of my particular needs, but generally one or other is all you need. For example, today I got an alert from MyFico about a positive score change with Equifax. (yeah!), but when I pulled my new scores from TrueCredit, the change wasn't reflected there yet.

    Both services may offer a 30 day free trial. If you have already used that and still want to buy one of the services, call them first and ask for a discount code.

    If you want to monitor all 3 scores and reports as you said, go with TrueCredit (as hofhumbon said) - the scores will be close, and when you need a real score, pull it then. I intend to use both only for a few months or so - hoping to buy a house and need to keep a close eye on things.
